Cookie Policy

Effective September 2, 2026

This document is a template for information only. It is not legal advice. Adapt it to your jurisdiction and operation before you rely on it.

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies Quathos Monitor uses. The application needs a small set of cookies to work — and nothing beyond that.

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Quathos Monitor uses only first-party cookies. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the Service to function and cannot be turned off:

  • Session cookie (qfx_session): keeps you signed in after authentication.
  • Refresh cookie (qfx_refresh): renews your session without asking you to sign in again.
  • Active organization (qfx_org): remembers which of your organizations you are working in.

3. Preference cookies

These remember your choices to improve your experience:

  • locale: remembers whether you chose English or Portuguese.
  • theme: remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme.

4. No advertising or analytics tracking

We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to track you across other websites, and we set no third-party analytics cookies. The query analytics shown in the product are about DNS traffic to your zones, not about you — they are built from server-side data and involve no cookies at all.

5. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in or use the Service. If you clear preference cookies, your language and theme reset to the defaults.

6. Changes and contact

If our use of cookies changes, we will update this page and its effective date. Questions? Email contact@quathos.com.
